The world of regulations around Food Contact Materials is a complex one.

Smart CE! Smart DoP!

“Geen data, geen Business. Bent u niet in staat informatie over uw product te delen dan kunt u het niet verkopen!”

We nemen de markt van de bouw als voorbeeld. Van woningbouw tot utiliteit, van wegenbouw tot parkeren. Er zijn twee bewegingen in de markt die de noodzaak van het kunnen delen van informatie over het product belangrijk maken.

De eerste beweging heeft te maken met de ontwerpfase van het gebouw, van de woning, van de parkeergarage. In een Declaration of Performance (DoP) staat veel nuttige informatie maar in PDF format kan je er niet zoveel mee. Stel dat deze informatie beschikbaar is voor Building Information Modelling (BIM)? In Brussel wordt er nu gewerkt aan een interface tussen Declaration of Performance en BIM. ProductIP zit bij dit proces aan tafel en praat u bij.

De tweede beweging heeft te maken met de gebruikersfase. Het kan niet zo zijn dat de oplevering van een gebouw, ook een woning, bestaat uit de overdracht van een sleutel. Bijvoorbeeld toezichthouders, of externe derden in hun opdracht, moeten een review kunnen doen op de verzamelde informatie. Dit geldt ook bij waardebepalingen door investeerders. En wat te denken van “as-built” informatie bij renovatie en sloop. Deze informatie kan je samenvatten onder de noemer gebouwdossier.

Het uitwisselen van data heeft altijd impact op meerdere partijen in de markt, er zijn namelijk zenders en ontvangers. Bedrijven die producten, onderdelen, bouwstenen, stoffen e.d. leveren, dat zijn de zenders, en de aannemers die het gebouw realiseren, dat zijn de eerste ontvangers en verwerkers. Vervolgens zullen deze aannemers zelf weer zenders worden en worden gebouweigenaren / beheerders ontvangers. De keten krijgt informatiemanagement als uitdaging!
